We're seeking a detail oriented, professional, service focused Office Administrator with HR experience for our Office Coordinator position at our Duncan, SC Distribution Center. In this role, you'll be responsible for these essential functions:
Ensures coordination with Human Resources Department for current policies.
Responsible for new hire orientation.
Assist will call customers as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of all office and will call areas by appropriate means.
Maintains petty cash fund.
Prepares deposits for banking.
Understands all computer functions.
Enrolls new employees in health insurance.
Conducts employee meetings for insurance.
Verbalizes company changes via memo or meeting.
Coordinates workman comp claims with headquarters.
Monitors employee attendance tracking.
Monitors PAR program and creates monthly report for distribution of PAR chips.
Must have general knowledge of human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities
Other Duties and Responsibilities include:
Sends and receives mail from postal service.
Provides assistance in warehouse operations.
Pulls orders when necessary.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Arranges employee luncheons, extra benefits (hams and turkey's), etc.
Maintains organized vendor and employee files.
Maintains safety and training records.
Forwards all records to Olathe.
Performs exit interviews.
Orders supplies (office/computer).
Reports phone problems.
Maintains office equipment.
Forwards packing slips and mail to Olathe.
Releases orders as necessary.
Assists DC Manager with tenant relations.
Promotes health and wellness programs with DC staff provided by NUDGE Wellness Department.
Assists with CRM complaints as needed, and prepares weekly claims reporting where applicable.
Daily data entry of receiving and shipping audits.
Requests samples from stock, where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
Qualified candidates for this role will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience performing substantially similar essential functions, including one year experience performing human resources activities. Other requirements include:
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English.
Demonstrates experience with and a passion for serving customers and employees with quality and timely action and responses
Must possess a minimum of one year experience performing human resources activities including conducting new employee orientation, interviewing and hiring, and employee relations
Demonstrates profiency to perform basic accounting functions
Demonstrates proficient data entry skills with the ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute
Demonstrates proficiency using Google Mail and Calendar
Demonstrates intermediate profiency using Microsoft Office
Must be team oriented, demonstrate positive attitude and collaborate effectively with employees and management team to achieve goals
Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience and demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and mantain strict confidentiality
Demonstrates a proven track record in effectively managing tasks and priorities for overlapping projects and meeting deadlines in a consistent, complete, accurate and timely manner
