Title: Warehouse Distribution Supervisor-2nd Shift-Bilingual Spanish- 71079

Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Distribution Supervisor-2nd Shift-Bilingual Spanish at John Deere's Global Aftermarket & Customer Support Division/Parts Distribution located in Miami, Florida, you will supervise and lead the development and execution of departmental plans to achieve objectives in safety, quality, schedule, efficiency and continuous improvement. In addition you will:

• Execute day-to-day time-sensitive warehouse operations which leads to overtime and sometimes work on weekends
• Provide facility leadership to meet safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and employee engagement goals
• Implement Smart Connected Warehouse, train employees on warehouse system utilization, and be liaison between operations employees and project team
• Conduct employee evaluation leading to employee development, disciplinary action, and / or employee termination
• Lead maintenance of equipment and facilities assets
• Manage and control labor and asset cost
• Lead continuous improvement activities
• Perform facility coordinator activities
• Work 2nd shift hours 3:30PM-11:30PM
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays as business demands require
• Utilize Spanish language skills in the workplace

What Skills You Need

• 1+ years' warehouse or manufacturing supervisor and/or team lead experience
• 1+ years' experience in shipping office coordinator and facility coordinator
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent reading and writing and speaking Spanish language
• 1+ years' experience in warehouse maintenance and international export logistics
• Available to work 2nd shift hours 3:30PM-11:30PM
• Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business demands require

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience gathering requirements, developing roadmaps, and project plans
• Experience in serving Latin America customer or dealers
• Understanding of Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in- Time, Kanban, Demand Flow technology

• Experience with production control systems
• Experience in use of statistical tools and techniques for quality management
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience
