The VP of Corporate Development & Finance Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing corporate-wide business strategy which Includes growth and diversification opportunities, supported by financial plans. Aligns objectives with human capital and financial resources. Drive post-close integration.

This position leads the entire Merger and Acquisition (M&A) life cycle with a strong mix of operational and strategic aspects across workforce planning, learning and development, talent management, performance management, organizational change, on boarding, engagement, and reward.

Essential functions for this role include:


  • Collects and analyzes information that evaluates the organization’s performance, strengths and weaknesses, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Identifies markets, industries, geographies, and technologies that complement the overall M&A strategy and translate these analyses into specified targets.

  • Collaborates with external business leadership of prospecting businesses in supporting management and execution of the merger or acquisition process throughout the transaction life cycle

  • Leads the preparation of valuation models following the business’s M&A standards and performing key analyses inclusive of ROIC, accretion and dilution analyses, comparable company analysis, and discounted cash flow analyses.

  • Gathers information regarding risks and opportunities for impending and ongoing M&A activities, translating this information into fact-based and well-reasoned insights on the valuation and structural impact of the merger or acquisition.

  • Drives due diligence activities across all functional areas of any transaction inclusive of commercial, financial, products, operations, technology, sales and marketing

  • Develops existing relationships with external partners such as M&A advisors, Bankers and develop new ones.

  • Partners with the legal department in order to ensure that proper protocols and processes are followed and adhered to in a timely manner for each transaction.

  • Engages top leadership in making final approvals of M&A transactions as well as delivering well communicated, balanced, and comprehensive analyses for each stage of merger and acquisition transactions for the business’s executives and key stakeholders

  • Delivers value to the business through integration readiness assessments, developing integration strategies, target due diligence, and post-close integration management.

If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:


  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, MBA a plus

  • 10+ years of experience; 7-10 years of overall supervisory/management experience;15+ years of strategy, corporate finance or consulting, experience required.

  • Experience with growth strategy projects, strategic partnerships, and M&A a must

  • Experience in a strategy/business development capacity

  • Strong analytical and research skills (qualitative and quantitative)

  • Proficiency in developing and understanding complex models, macros, and databases

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Substantial interaction with management to collect, analyze, and summarize financial data

  • Full life cycle Mergers and Acquisitions experience

  • Project management and time management skills preferred
