Lead Graphic Designer - AT&T University at AT&T

Job Description:

This position is part of the AT&T University (Training) Organization.

Overall Purpose: With an emphasis on animation, this position will invent environments, develop expressive character acting, and be responsible for overall storytelling and concept development. As an animator, you will work with clients and production team members to establish project goals, create storyboards, and design/refine animations. Must have advanced skills using visualization to communicate abstract or concrete messages to a target audience. Creates and edits both character animation and traditional videos to be used in training, including editing associated audio files. Ability to problem solve, coach/mentor/guide team members to build other innovating solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to provide specific and detailed feedback to designers while working in a fast-paced environment.

Role: Has solid knowledge of design principles and can carry out the design, development and production of complex and diverse animation effects for various media platforms. Function as part of a team to understand and convey accurate information for requested animations. Generate ideas and bring them to fruition.

Education: Preferred Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Art, Interactive Design, or a related digital media discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and technical training.

Preferred experience:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in animation and digital media development
  • Advanced multi-media background
  • Advanced animation background
  • Audio voice over experience
  • Demonstrated graphic design experience creating original illustrations or layouts
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Edge Animate, Premier), Unity a plus
  • Ability to assist or lead the create process for videos, both visual and audio components 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Peer leadership and influencing traits are essential
  • Self-directed, self-starter who also works well with a team
