Work from home POSITION SUMMARY This position will be responsible for the delivery, competitive positioning and management of Cigna's open access style products (e.g. LocalPlus, Tiered OAP, etc.), including Product accountability for the expansion of the solutions to additional markets and/or re-configuration of the network in existing markets to improve product performance. Position will be aligned to specific geographic markets and will serve as a product resource for multiple network products. This position will also work cross-functionally to meet the organization's needs around delivery, training, communication, and the reporting of its value as an innovative, affordable solution for our customers. This includes, but is not limited to, product branding, marketing, strategy, and market proof points and positioning. JOB DESCRIPTION The candidate for this position will ensure that assigned network solution(s) is at, or above, competitive parity and take actions to identify differentiation opportunities and recommend a solution lifecycle roadmap that will drive profitable growth and membership targets. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with Market Leaders, Pricing, Underwriting, Network Solutions and Operations (NS&O), Marketing Communication, Segment/Buyer Group Sales Leaders, and other Go-To-Market/Solution Product colleagues. Strategies include market and segment analysis, product definition, and competitive assessment, ensuring that products deliver superior value to customers. May lead or support innovation (test-and-learn) initiatives, as well as align with agile-based teams as appropriate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Fully understands client and customer needs and competitive offerings, and buyer group objectives nationally and at the market level, working cross-functionally to proactively understand and seek to satisfy the sales/buyer group needs - communicating, training, and reporting these programs and their differentiating value.

  • Consults with market leaders on strategy and provide expertise and guidance on product positioning Works with Product leadership to develop strategies and transformative enhancements to products to meet future client/customer needs and desires

  • Oversees the successful delivery and maintenance of network solutions within new and existing markets by working with key matrix partners Understands key macro trends, environmental forces and company strengths and weaknesses, and assess their impact on our strategy.

  • Translates product feedback into features and requirements specifications, and ensure that the highest priority features are delivered to meet customer requirements.

  • Serves as the subject matter expert within the organization for all sales channels and buying groups.

  • Provides key messaging into marketing communication plans, as well as market-facing deliverables associated with the solutions.

  • Provides solution messages that are fresh, differentiating, and relevant for the buyer group and audience, and ensures Sales and Provider Contracting colleagues are well-equipped to deliver value proposition and key differentiating points.

  • Ensures team's sales resources (proposal content, presale tools, cKit/Knowledge Exchange, presentations, and collaterals) meet the need of the users, including currency of information in response to a quickly changing environment.

  • Developsand leads product training through key matrix partners, leveraging processes such as SYNERGY and national/regional forums.

  • Ensures all key buyer groups, and horizontals, are included in communication and training plans.

  • Helps the team incorporate and align with agile techniques and operating model in line with the enterprise transition.

  • Participates in client meetings, as well as client and producer forums, as required.

  • Drives resolution of client and customer issues, escalating when appropriate.

  • Shares best practices with team members to contribute to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer support.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • 5 + years of Finance/Medical Economics/Underwriting, Product or Network exposure, ideally with client/customer-facing or Sales exposure.

  • Strong project management, critical thinking, analytic and problem solving abilities and the ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements

  • Strategic and creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate strategies into actions/requirements/implementation.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a heavily-matrixed culture and drive results with strong sense of urgency, and in an environment of ambiguity.

  • Strong influencing and presentation skills. Can convey complex information in an understandable way to various audiences.

  • Excellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate execution of initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field preferred

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
