POSITION SUMMARY

To support the Accounting Manager in carrying out the goals and responsibilities of the Accounting Department by preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare multi-state sales tax returns: CA, WA, and NV.


• Assist and/or prepare California and Oregon property tax returns.


• Prepare documentation for state and federal regulatory compliance.


• Assist and/or prepare annual operating and capital budgets.


• Prepare reports required by third parties; lender compliance, Caterpillar, and others as assigned.


• Prepare and/or assist the Accounting Manager in reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Prepare financial trend analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts.


• Present financial information to managers and executives and answer related questions.


• Prepare timely accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany transactions.


• 
  Responsible for providing feedback and assistance to the Accounting Manager for training employees, planning assignments, directing work, addressing complaints, performance feedback, and resolving problems.


• Other duties may be assigned.
