As our firm adds both breadth and depth to our Audit practice, we seek an experienced audit professional to join our team as an Audit Manager with our Technology and Media practice in our Los Angeles office. As an Audit Manager in this practice, you will be working directly with our portfolio of startups, private equity-backed companies, and family-owned businesses in the technology, SaaS, media, advertising, and marketing service spaces. You will be responsible for providing the highest levels of service to our clients while working closely with firm partners from multiple service lines, supported by a strong team of dedicated and passionate industry professionals.

Professional Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple client engagements from planning to execution with effective budgeting and provide timely client deliverables simultaneously

  • Proactively communicate with clients, partners, and audit team members to better manage engagement expectations

  • Support members of the audit team on technical topics, including accounting for business combinations, stock options, revenue recognition, and others

  • Serve as a technical resource for other engagement team members by sharing knowledge and experience

  • Provide technical support to clients with research and provide objective conclusions as they arise

  • Manage, develop and engage audit team members on engagements by providing real-time assignment feedback and assessing their overall performance at year-end reviews

  • Strive to continuously improve by attending professional development initiatives, networking events, and training seminars

  • Develop professional relationships with key client contacts

  • Play a key role in business development by identifying new business opportunities within existing client base as well as new opportunities through networking

Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field

  • An active CPA license is required

  • 5+ years of relevant audit experience in a CPA firm, a professional services firm or an audit consulting practice

  • 1-2 years in a manger/supervisory capacity over other audit staff

  • Technology and/or Media industry experience with relevant technical expertise

  • Strong technical accounting skills, research skills and problem-solving skills

  • Proven experience meeting strict deadlines within budgetary constraints

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills

  • Demonstrated success in relationship management

  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
