About This Role:

Forrester is looking for a Product Manager that offer clients dynamic digital learning experiences and help them acquire the knowledge and skills needed to execute today's most rapidly changing business disciplines. This role is part of Forrester's Certification, one of Forrester's fastest-growing areas that drive impact and transformation to world's premier organizations.

Reporting to the director of Certification, the Product Manager uses a deep understanding of customer needs and goals to create product experiences customers love.

Responsibilities


  • Lead an agile and iterative product development cycle focused on customer needs.

  • Maintain a product roadmap aligned with the overall Certification and Forrester business strategies, focusing on repeatable subscription products.

  • Use analysis, consulting, and writing to expertly frame new Certification courses for production, synthesizing complex ideas into simple, actionable frameworks in close collaboration with research and production teams.

  • Identify, test, and integrate new technologies that add value for customers using technical know-hows and curiosity.

  • Champion the customer in every product, feature, and business decision. Inspire urgency around customer needs in the team.

  • Contribute to the commercial success of the Certification product portfolio through high customer satisfaction and products' ability to drive growth of subscription products.

  • Employ a consistent method to evaluate and prioritize product features according to customer impact, business impact, feasibility, and risk.

  • Oversee course production, localization/translation, and content updates in accordance with the quality and feature expectations of customers.

  • Use evidence-based decision-making in evaluating market opportunities and product features. Utilize tools such as Lean Canvas and storytelling to articulate evidence in ways that inspire action.

  • Lead through others. Assemble coalitions to drive outcomes for customers and execute on our product roadmap.

  • Collaborate closely with the product delivery and support team to ensure that customers receive our intended total product experience and guide course-correction as needed as the authority on customer needs.

Qualifications

Candidates for this role have:


  • A bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of five to seven years' professional experience, including three to five year's success in product management or any related field.

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving ability; previous experience with design thinking or product strategy and development is a plus.

  • A keen eye for service and experience design; background in technical design and understanding of online learning are preferable.

  • History of driving results through collaboration in a fast-paced work setting.

  • A growth mindset and intellectual curiosity toward continuous improvement; the motivation to seek out other's expertise to pursue product excellence.

  • Customer obsession.
