Qualis Corporation is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist in engineering activities for the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the Army Space and Missile Defense Command, PEO Aviation, and the corporate office with various tasks on a variety of projects. This is a temporary part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Engineering research, engineering calculations, and provide technical support to lead engineers working high priority projects supporting NASA, PEO Aviation, and other Army programs.
• The candidate may at times support other office duties including answering the telephone, responding to general company inquiries; greeting and directing all visitors, vendors, clients, and customers; assisting with the creation of company documents/presentations; preparing shipments, and maintaining supply inventory

• Must currently be a full-time college student pursuing an undergraduate degree or recent graduate in an engineering discipline, and maintaining or have graduated with a 3.0 or better GPA.
• Experience with MatLab preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Excellent written and verbal skills required.
• Candidate must have excellent customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Position requires good attendance and punctuality.
