This role directly supervises a team of 8 employees, providing oversight to fulfillment and distribution of orders for food, household supplies and menu items, ensuring product quality, accuracy, customer service & safety standards are maintained. Some of the responsibilities are: Oversight of inventory levels for produce and other items to ensure sufficient product on hand for fulfillment and customer service satisfaction. Ensures the inventory management procedures are in place relative to proper rotation and compliance with all necessary of handling procedures. Supervises the distribution staff with general administration of day-to-day functions and coordination of their duties and responsibilities.Works in conjunction with the Food Services Procurement / Operations Manager and Human Resources to fill vacancies. Responsible for departmental cost recovery, policy procedure compliance and Food Service directives as assigned:Collaborates with the Transportation Department for delivery, scheduling and coordination as needed.Food & Physical Safety Compliance. Work schedule: Full-time flex shift - hours may vary from the 5:30 am to 5:00 pm - Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the department. Qualification:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with food services and warehouse & fulfillment operations.
Valid PA Driver's License in good standing.
Current ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Proven experience working with a variety of retail and institutional food products.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (word, excel, outlook, Navision, and other systems).
Demonstrated success in a supervisory role.
Demonstrated success in analyzing opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies.
Excellent collaboration and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to manage effectively distribution of food and/or supplies.
