Job Description:

*Description* * Maintain a calendar of grant reporting * Maintain contractual records grant correspondence, subcontract information sheets, status reports, and other documents for grant funded projects * Prepare monthly and quarterly reimbursement expenditure vouchers * Monitor ongoing compliance with funder regulations * Assist with maintenance of salary allocations for grant funded positions * Review cost center charges for non-personnel spending * Perform account analysis * Propose journal entries for assigned contracts * Pre-audit preparation of requested documents and supporting schedules * Ensure timely close-out of contracts
* 5 years experience in the not-for-profit space * Bachelors degree in Accounting required * Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local government grant administration * Working knowledge of NY & NYS grants administration portals * Experience with non-profit accounting software * Microsoft Office proficiency required * Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and communicate results * Ability to work independently and be self reliant while still working effectively in a team environment Our client is a nonprofit that partners with other nonprofits to ensure their organization is financially sustainable and effectively achieves their desired impacts. * Role is remote * Contracted role with opportunity to go permanent * Ability to start ASAP required * Competitive compensation * Full medical benefits provided
