The Principal Member of Technical Staff reports to the Network Cloud and Infrastructure's ECOMP Platform group. Candidate will be involved in the transformation of network configuration data regarding several platforms into audit rules used by the operations organization. The individual will have worked or be capable of working on projects of high complexity, where analysis of data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors, using knowledge and expertise derived from strong educational background and progressive experience.
Duties will involve:
Analysis of various network focused documentation including: CCR , NMTP (Network Management Technical Plan) and NDR (Network Design Requirements)
Translation of those requirements and network configurations into audit rules
Implementation of the audit rules, using a self-service API tool, into actual executable rules in the CVaaS platform (Configuration Validation as a Service)
Supporting Operations team with any trouble shooting or fallout from the audit rules
Working on platforms that include: Network Cloud supporting the 5G network, DCU platform, FirstNet and P1/P2
Education: Required: PhD, Masters or Bachelors degree in an approved field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university. Refer to the Technical Title Plan for a complete list of degrees. Experience: PhD in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
