Responsibilities

This Mechanical Engineering Internship position provides opportunities for a student to experience practical application of mechanical engineering to supplement classroom learning. The internship will be within the Research & Development department of IDEAL Industries.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and theory to support R&D initiatives


• New product development and prototyping projects


• New product opportunity evaluation and concept development


• Support 3D printing prototyping lab

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year Mechanical Engineering college degree


• Strong grasp of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principals


• 3D modeling (Solidworks preferred)


• Microsoft Office proficient
