Financial Analyst

• Consolidate financial information into financial templates, including the annual operating budget, multi-year financial plans, and rate models
• Work in conjunction with financial partners through forecast, year-end process and multi-year planning by running reports and uploading financial data to Harvard's Budgeting system.
• Work in conjunction with Financial Operations and Financial Partners to ensure that information is being shared between the two units
• Manage financial processes calendar to ensure adequate time is being allocated to activities. Processes include dashboard presentation, budget presentation and submission, rate modeling and rate setting, multi-year financial plan preparation
• Document procedures related to job duties and suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Collaborates with Financial Partners, Financial Accounting and Operations, and/or central offices to streamline and re-design business or system processes.
• Perform a variety of financial analyses that identify trends and recommendations to help inform decision Making
• Assist with the annual budget process, and assist with multi-year forecasts
• Act as a resource for departments on transactional inquires and financial/budgetary questions that require problem-solving and analytic capability

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
