As the Manager, Employee Relations and Compliance, you'll be responsible for investigating potential compliance and or employee relations violations by conducting and leading internal investigations into complaints, legal issues, compliance violations, dishonesty, and other possible wrongdoing. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Lead complex compliance and employee relations investigations; effectively summarize findings and mitigation opportunities in written reports

  • Liaise closely with Corporate Compliance Team in the management, assessment, and conduct of investigations; review the overall accuracy and completeness of investigations on the case management system

  • Prepare timely and accurate analytical reports on investigation issues and trends

  • Accountable for overall employee relation investigations and compliance for line of business

  • Act as the point of contact for advice and mentorship on investigation issues for your area of responsibility

  • Coordinate information requests and EEOC and agency claims

  • Assist in developing and implementing a standardized investigative process across the line of business

  • Provides HR generalist support for the region/district as needed


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field

  • 5 years of experience conducting, leading, and supervising complex investigations in a large organization


It'd be great if you also have:

  • A thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit

  • Ability to act as the subject matter expert and provides training, troubleshooting and other support for software applications managed by business unit (i.e. COGNOS, FIS, Incentive Scorecards)

  • A basic knowledge / Strong Fluency /Expert-level user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Effective organizational, leadership and presentation skills

  • A strong business focus with demonstrated ability to act in partnership with management teams.
