Responsible for supporting data management in a series of international multi-center public health trials. Will assist lead data manager and project IT personnel in developing research databases with associated data collection forms/screens that provide high level validation and quality control features. Will be responsible for maintaining Manuals of Operations and Data Management Procedures manuals, as well as libraries of CRF templates.

Other duties include: executing data transfer procedures from data collection and other external sources into SAS research data library; monitoring and ensuring quality control procedures are followed in communication with site clinical personnel; monitoring specimen tracking systems to flag lost or delayed delivery; monitoring adverse event logs to ensure prompt reporting as required; and executing and distributing summary level accrual and status reports to project leadership on a regular schedule. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data processing environment, attention to detail and an ability to work independently in a proactive approach to data management.
While experience in clinical trials and/or data processing is preferred, a quick learner with some computing experience and a demonstrated affinity for and interest in public health and clinical trials can present with strong qualifications.
