Driving business operations excellence and performance management efforts to provide operational processes, marketing policies, measurement, analytical model and actionable plan to maximize the return on marketing investment. May also provide database analytics and operational expertise to drive fact-based strategic and tactical planning, manage and execute marketing programs. Typical responsibilities include managing the marketing investment envelope, identifying business requirements, developing business processes, managing complex programs and campaigns, establishing executive dashboards, scorecard, other measurement tools, and developing infrastructure (such as MRM, CRM, EDW and other data warehouse) as needed to drive close loop marketing and budget management. Also responsible for developing and delivering training and professional development and execution to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for overseeing all Budget Management and Procurement activities for the Digital Marketing Organization.

  • Running bi-weekly meetings with VP of Digital, Monthly meetings with COE leads, Reconciliation of AO report, Reporting of actuals and forecast, Validation of invoices, Accrual and Amortization submittals, IC transfer processing, POE validation and posting, SOW validation and PO creation, Travel forecasting and reconciliation.

  • Based on appropriate analysis of marketing information, provide value-added business performance analytics and optimization recommendations that enable continuous improvement across the Marketing organization to drive marketing budgets optimizations.

  • Research and evaluate opportunity to apply common methods and frameworks across analytic projects to allow for reuse of modeling and more efficient solutions.

  • Recommend go-to-market actions based on analytical findings to senior leaders.

  • Work with business marketing teams to develop comprehensive understanding of marketing investment opportunities/trade-offs and translate that understanding into detailed requirements.

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure that programs are executed accurately, effectively and within budget.

  • Implement processes and tools such as MRM, CRM CKM to drive performance management/productivity.

Education and Experience Required:


  • BA or BS in Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years marketing, finance and project management or operational experience.

  • Experience in databases such as MRM or CRM applications; statistics background a plus.

  • Advanced statistics background for analytical positions preferred (advanced degree with research and statistical focus background).

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Expert knowledge of marketing and finance principles, practices, tactics and tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and finance activities and practices and procedures.

  • In-depth knowledge of and/or experience in business and finance strategies.

  • Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; ability to build and manage virtual teams.

  • Excellent negotiating and change management skills.

  • Ability to interface effectively with management team and functional disciplines.

  • Excellent influencing and consensus-building skills.

  • Excellent execution skills.
