Delivering powerful ways to drive awareness, consideration, acquisition and engagement amongst the small business owner segment is a strategically important focus for Chase. This role will be a champion for Owned channel brand efforts on the Chase Brand Team with keen focus on small business-oriented messaging and audiences to propel the Chase for Business brand. The candidate will use their knowledge of customer insights, creative brief writing, advertising and marketing communications development, internal and external agency management, and creative production to deliver upon key business and brand goals. They will be responsible for leading individual campaign and creative asset development, and also be part of the collaborative Brand Team mission towards building powerful and fully integrated campaigns supporting a customer-obsessed view.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Management
Maintain an understanding of Chase for Business's brand purpose, strategy, and standards to facilitate effective brand stewardship and cohesion across all go-to-market efforts
Understand the business and marketing objectives, championing brand solutions to deliver on business goals
Develop and grow strong working relationships with line of business partners to provide strategic and tactical brand, advertising and marketing communications support
Understand and manage the on-going book of work to optimize planning and resourcing
Brand Strategy & Creative Development
Lead the development strategy and messaging outlined in creative briefs that sets the course for powerful Owned channel creative (display ads, email, newsletters, landing pages, branch assets, POS materials, etc.)
Motivate and set inspiring direction for internal and external agency creative teams to develop integrated, breakthrough advertising and messaging
Manage production and implementation of Owned channel tactics spanning digital, mobile, email, social, branch assets, video, photography
Compliance/Control
Ensures legal/compliance/risk and control requirements are met for all campaigns
Manage creative budgets associated with managed programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and Education
5 years of marketing experience with demonstrated experience in developing Owned channel marketing communications
Experience working in or directly with internal or external creative agencies
Small business industry or financial category experience a plus
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
Brand Management Skills
Ability to guide development of strong creative briefs and deliver clear, distinct and motivating creative briefing sessions
Ability to evaluate creative strategies and concepts, and give confident and constructive feedback both in moment, and through aligning comprehensive consensus across all stakeholders
Rigor to consistently leverage customer insights/data to propel campaign effectiveness and business results
Strong understanding of digital and video creative production and execution
Leadership Skills
Ability to partner with line of business marketers to develop solid working relationships centered on shared purpose business and marketing goals
Ability to develops strong working relationships with creative teams to inspire and deliver on brief objectives
