The Team:

The Business Management & Governance Team is supports the Employee Compliance, Conduct & Corporate Functions within CCOR in three (3) key areas; Business Management, Governance and Representing (Interface). We support, amongst other things, the ongoing transformation / evolution of how EC, C& CF Programs analyze and synthesize information while driving growth, efficiencies and maintain financial reporting. In addition, the team partners with senior leadership to analyze and assess current state, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities (technical and process orientated), and help manage the end-to-end implementation of the target state vision.

This team works closely with Compliance, Compliance Processing, CCOR / RM&C Business Management, Human Resources, Technology and Business leaders across all lines of business, including Corporate & Investment Banking, Asset Management, Commercial Banking and Consumer & Community Banking, to drive strategic change across the organization.

Position Description:

We are seeking a critical thinker with good writing and assimilation skills to join a high-performing team that supports Employee Compliance, Conduct & Corporate Functions. This role will manage financial and organizational information for the entire organization of 200+ resources. Part of the responsibilities for this role include creating and maintaining aggregate headcount reports, aggregate financial reports such as budget vs actuals, hiring, non-labor expense reports, etc. A solid background in finance and accounting as well as the experience and ability to work with large datasets in excel a must.

As a member of Business Management & Governance team, you'll draw on your strengths capturing and consolidating key messages in partnership with senior leadership, managing time, deliverables and initiatives that typically span multiple Corporate Risk Programs, lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You'll lead these activities & initiatives from initiation through implementation, including: establishing requirements, priorities and deadlines. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the organization / firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in business management, it's a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding and experience in financial and accounting reporting
  • Proficiency in one or more business disciplines or functions
  • Experience Business Management / Managing multiple projects
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals on the Organizational Operations team, as well as the supported organization, and throughout the firm
  • Resourcefulness to overcome obstacles independently
  • Expert level skills in Excel and the ability to manipulate large data sets for organizational analysis
  • Detail-oriented skills to catch and fix anomalies in the data
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and a knack for visual representation of data to communicate key messages
  • Ability to see the top down view while simultaneously understanding individual level details in order to help improve overall organizational operations efficiency
  • Very strong communication skills and confidence to speak to Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and comfortable speaking to large audiences on conference calls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• 2 - 5 years of Business Management experience and 2-4 years of experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance is preferred.

• Effective collaborator committed to contributing to a positive team environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner.

• Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with minimal supervision.
