We are excited to announce your next new role! We are seeking a Medical Receptionist who has at least 1-2 years of experience to join our Rockville, MD office. We are searching for enthusiastic individuals with strong collaboration and organizational skills. You will join an experienced, hardworking team dedicated to providing high quality patient care and service.

You will be assisting with patient check-in, patient check out, and insurance verification. Our Rockville clinic is a fast-paced office with 5 physicians.  Your experience with NextGen, Phreesia, Microsoft office, and EMR systems is a plus!

Your primary duties include: 

• Collect charges as determined by insurance company (i.e., co-pay, co-insurance, payment in full) for ARA, OAC and Infusion.


• Schedule next appointment and give patient appointment reminder.


• Record total charges and payments on appropriate daily transaction log.


• Total charges and services on each daily transaction log.


• Enter payments collected in EHR template and generate fee ticket. Print fee ticket and attach to printed EPM fee ticket.


• Prepare deposit slips and close out credit card machine for Infusion.


• Ensure that all fee tickets are present, that deposit slips and credit card batch balance with daily transaction log and/or Phreesia Daily Reconciliation Report. Run report in EPM to ensure all submitted charges have been captured on the transaction log.

Your Education: High school diploma, College degree preferred
