Job Summary:

A Feed Mill Associate is responsible for loading and unloading ingredient trucks, while maintaining organization and cleanliness of work area. Will perform housekeeping activities, general repair of equipment, and quality check ingredients. Also responsible for compliance with all company policies, FSMA regulations, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain cleanliness in assigned work area


• Handle 50+ pound bags of ingredient 


• Operate industrial grade vacuum


• Pressure wash


• Assist with general maintenance repairs as required reporting equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel 


• Drive Forklift, Sweeper, Tractor and Shuttle Wagon as required


• Unload incoming trucks


• Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork and reports as assigned


• All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment, operation and maintenance preferred


• H.S. Diploma preferred


• Adhere to Company policies and procedures


• Ability to work unsupervised


• Possess sound work ethic, honesty and moral character

Physical/Environmental Factors:

• Walk and stand majority of the work shift


• Frequently stoop, kneel, crawl and bend


• Frequently climb stairs and ladders


• Lift and carry 50+ pound bags


• Work in confined spaces


• Work in dusty, hot environment


• Work in loud environment requiring ear protection
