Job Description:

Aldevron's Lab Tech II works within Aldevron's labs performing cleaning and segregation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily and weekly checklists of facility maintenance and preparation procedures


• Detailed, thorough cleaning, line clearance, and segregation of GMP and GMP-Source production areas and associated equipment while wearing appropriate gowning


• Track and maintain required cleaning agent rotation, i.e. sporicidal cleaning


• Coordinating with Quality Assurance for room review after cleaning


• Equipment calibration and preventative maintenance; assisting Metrology as needed


• Clean equipment and supplies


• Weekly checking of working inventory level and requesting more consumables as needed


• Assist in vial weighing, capping and labeling of vials as well as associated paperwork for diagnostic kit procedures


• Complete necessary facility control task requirements including hallway, floor and wall cleaning, facility temperature monitoring, and specific room cleaning


• Follow room environmental monitoring status to determine when sporicidal cleaning is required


• Maintenance of training records


• Completion of all in-process paperwork associated with the tasks listed


• Assist in writing and completing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and forms related to job tasks


• Participate and support of Aldevron’s internal audit program by providing requested information and responding to findings presented in the audit report


• Follow Aldevron SOPs and adhere to regulatory expectations


• Communicate the status of operations, process issues, and safety and maintenance issues to appropriate area management


• Coordinate Hesi hazardous waste pick up and complete necessary documentation


• Ensure the laboratory is inspection ready and maintain overall lab cleanliness

Required Skills

• Ability to apply basic math 


• Good knowledge of computers and programs like Microsoft Office and SmartSheet


• Good organizational skills


• Ability to lift and move material and equipment 

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
