WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Work with administrative staff to plan programs for Youth Care Workers, stake holders, residents, and families (i.e.: holiday parties and back to school celebrations).
Provide IL case management services.
Provide group or individual skill building sessions to address tangible and intangible skills.
Assess youth skill level through the online Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessment. Assist in program development while promoting community understanding and awareness of the IL skills program.
Meet with each resident within three business days of admission to develop an individualized treatment plan for activities and for IL if age appropriate.
Monitor and complete IL hours for each appropriate resident in a manner to show and ensure compliance with Indiana Code. Complete an accurate monthly summary of all services completed and submit to Director timely.
Assist in TASC prep and attainment.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in social work or related human service field preferred.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm OR 10:00 am - 7:00 pm daily depending on whether school is in/out of session.
Similar work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Must have knowledge of relevant clinical issues and demonstrate clinical expertise for populations served.
Excellent communication skills
Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company vehicle liability insurance.
Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
