As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for meeting monthly and annual revenue goals by selling a suite of Credit Card processing options to our current and prospective merchant partners via telephone.
Some key components of this role include:
Selling payment processing services to both new and existing merchant partners through both inbound and outbound telephone calls.
Qualifying both cold & warm sales leads through making 40 - 50 outbound calls per day.
Communicating both verbally and in writing with key decision-makers at a variety of levels (Small to Mid-size business owners, CEOs, etc.) to evaluate needs and propose solutions from our commerce solution portfolio.
Staying abreast of company's products, solutions and services to aid in solution development based on merchant needs.
Maintaining detailed and accurate electronic sales records and other administrative duties as required.
Delivering excellent follow up proactively and on time / as promised to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction both pre and post-sale.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales experience and/or Bachelor/Associate degree (or equivalent training in business or sales management in lieu of degree)
Strong telesales ability, written communication and interpersonal skills
Merchant Services Industry experience a plus
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi task and function successfully in a fast-paced environment
Focused and detail-oriented
Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel
Good work ethics
Easy to get along / work with
Occasional traveling may be required
