Job Description:

Team Overview

The e-Commerce Client Solutions team is responsible for leading Global client engagements within the Commercial Bank (CB) across e-Commerce, Digital-first, and Third Party Payment Processors (TPPP) clients.

The team works with treasury and banking partners in CB to identify areas of critical need in client engagements, configuring and proposing tailored global treasury, Card, FX, merchant and retail bank solutions

The team has established broad partnerships with Product and Sales experts within the CB, Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) and Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) to develop integrated solutions for strategic and rapidly growing clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead e-Commerce, Digital-first, and TPPP strategic client engagements; close identified deals and drive pipeline growth.
  • Lead new and emerging solution commercialization efforts for strategic treasury, FX, and merchant solutions addressing segmented client critical needs.
  • Lead proposals and tailor solutions across all global treasury, FX, and merchant services, including detailed new innovative solution positioning (SUA Prefund, Global Mass Pay, Virtual Account Management, etc.).
  • Articulate "voice of the client" needs and advocate within the firm to address solution gaps; build business cases supporting new product investments.
  • Increase treasury sales and banking partner understanding and awareness of e-Commerce, Digital-first, and TPPP knowledge (including risk profiles of TPPP sub-categories) and best practice approaches.
  • Become thought leaders in the firm for this segment; maintain deep industry and competitive intelligence across client trajectories and competitive actions.
  • Develop deep working relationships with Product and Sales teams within CB, CIB and CCB to develop integrated solutions, including close partnership with the CIB Wholesale Solutions e-Commerce teams

Qualifications

  • E-Commerce, Digital-first, and TPPP client support and/or direct professional experience is a plus.
  • Deep solution proficiency and expertise across all existing and new treasury, FX, and merchant services solutions; thorough understanding of newly launched innovations and solutions being developed.
  • Executive-level presence necessary to lead discussions and advise C-suite client leaders, understanding their most complex operational and financial pain points and developing holistic solutions to address these areas.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach required to operate within and shape the newly launched organization serving a high profile and strategic client segment.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of senior audiences
  • Experience supporting the commercialization of new solutions is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to forge strong internal partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple, diverse engagements with strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic mindset and intellectual curiosity fostering the absorption and dissemination of market trends and competitive intelligence in segment.
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, synthesizing mass quantities of data into succinct perspectives and recommendations.
  • E-Commerce, Digital-first, and TPPP client support and/or direct professional experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience in treasury, FX, and/or merchant product sales, marketing, market strategy, and/or product management.
