Job Description:

Business Banking Risk Reporting and Analytics, a group within CCB Risk Management, produces internal and external reporting and analysis used to manage risk through changing market conditions, support regulatory requirements regarding Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting, and is actively involved in the analysis of credit data and risk metrics to identify trends and issues which may impact the bank's ability to manage credit risk.

The Business Banking Risk Reporting and Analytics Associate will be responsible for Business Banking and CCB wide reporting, supporting various key initiatives for risk reporting and data. This individual will demonstrate strong people management skills, analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethic, and leverage sound judgment to effectively work in a fast pace and dynamic environment. Additionally, this individual will possess the ability to work with and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable analysis and provide a point of view to executive level leadership. This will include:


  • Building the 'next generation' suite of risk reporting,
  • Executing the end-to-end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles and ensuring the report delivery processes and data validation processes meet business needs.
  • Developing robust data and reporting for senior management (i.e. Tableau, Cognos, Powerpoint),
  • Identify and automate production routines to improve efficiency
  • Expanding analytic and data capability for Wholesale banking and CCB Wide LOB's
  • Understand Agile methodology and quality assurance concepts, metrics, and documentation standards.

The candidate must be highly-motivated and have the ability to deal with ambiguity as needed, be flexible to work during the evenings when required and be comfortable dealing with a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.

Qualifications


  • 4 years Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Computer Science, MIS, or Statistics preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, communication, and work ethic
  • Requires 1-2 years of SQL and report development experience
  • Experience in data analysis, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts
  • Experience with BI Reporting Tools (Tableau, Cognos, or BO) is preferred
