Robert Half is seeking an Operational Program Manager (OPM) to support our growing Salaried Professional Services.  The OPM is a hands-on position that will manage and coordinate projects that are in support of all functions of the Salaried Professional Services. The role incumbent will be a liaison between our corporate services departments (including the Executive Directors) and Field leadership teams. They will be responsible for the successful management of large and complex programs. They will partner with cross-functional teams to define, scope, plan, execute and deliver both products and related services on time and within expected goals.  The Program Manager will manage all aspects of new and existing programs/projects from start to finish. 

This position will require strong coordination between Corporate and the Field to ensure successful delivery for our customers. They will be responsible for overseeing multiple cross functional teams to support these initiatives including HR, Operational Support, Legal, Marketing, Reporting, IT and Operational Accounting.

This position manages multiple projects and initiatives that support process improvement for our internal teams and the Salaried Professional staff.  The OPM will work closely with business partners, internal clients, to ensure appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication takes place to guarantee successful and seamless project implementations. The OPM will create a tracking method to capture milestones and adjust project plans and or resources to meet the needs of the program.

The OPM is responsible for adherence to schedule, and management of task execution for all programs being managed in the portfolio. The OPM has the ability to identify, anticipate and manage risks, resulting in an effective program experience. The position will also identify internal processes to drive improvement and/or opportunities for efficiency. The OPM will be responsible for identifying ROI, which may include time-and-cost studies for the projects that are part of the portfolio, to assist with prioritization of efforts and to measure benefits after implementation.                                                                                                                                                      
This role will make recommendations based upon analysis and summarizes program information (metrics, feedback, etc.) and makes recommendations for program improvement as appropriate.

This role will require learning about the programs it supports and collaborates with in order to effectively execute process improvements and projects related to the programs.

This role requires the ability to handle multiple priorities at one time and be able to effectively balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Key qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in project and/or program management

  • Proven ability to drive flawless execution

  • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a high capacity for work output

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (basic through executive level)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects using a systematic project management methodology process

  • Fluency in project management and reporting software

  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments

  • Proven ability to be effective, versatile and action-oriented
