Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Cedar Falls, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field or foreign academic equivalent, plus 3 years related experience. Prior experience must include: develop and test Embedded software using Model-based software development (MBSD) in MATLAB/Simulink, or software development in C, C++, PYTHON (3 yrs); perform troubleshooting and issue resolution of complex technical issues using Communication protocols, Signal analyzers and software debugging or development tools like Visual Studio (2 yrs); export software architecture from PREEVision and develop next layer of application code in MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow (1 yr, 6 mo); develop high level software requirements from system specifications in requirement management tools like (PREEVision or Similar tools like Doors) (2 yrs). 10% travel required.
