Essential Functions 1. Analyze, evaluate and confirm material availability to maintain adequate levels of raw material, finished goods inventory and safety stock. 2. Proactively resolve challenges that develop regarding shipments, shortages, changes and cancellation of orders. 3. Coordinate material movements between internal work teams, storage areas and outside suppliers to ensure materials are available when needed. 4. May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools and equipment. 5. Coordinates and expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of material. 6. Cross train on receiving duties. 7. Ensure continuous inventory accuracy by participating in inventory cycle counts. 8. Work with Accounting personnel to resolve discrepancies. 9. Make visits to vendor offices/sites as deemed necessary. 10. Must maintain good housekeeping of all assigned areas and those areas where repairs are in progress or recently completed. 11. Safe operation of a forklift, wheel loader and company vehicle as required. 12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
