Job Summary:

In this position, you will strengthen the alignment between business priorities and organizational strategy and activation (capabilities, structure, processes, systems, talent, change, culture, etc.). As the advisor and expert on org design, you will leverage the STAR model, and other proven models, to guide senior business leaders across KCNA through the diagnosis, design and delivery of a holistic structure that achieves results.

Responsibilities:


  • Consult with business leaders/stakeholders to translate business needs into organizational implications, including developing and implementing high-quality, cost-effective organizational solutions (Scope: Canada, US, Staff and Mills).


  • Partner with regional HR Leaders as key stakeholders and to activate an organizational strategy (including structure, process and jobs) to align with the newly defined organizational designs. 


  • Establish and maintain solid partnerships with Global COEs and other HR teams.


  • Understand the business and strategies across KC North America (KCNA) to make meaningful connections and ensure organizational changes support the matrix, not just the function.  


  • Provide end-to-end stakeholder management, including consultation, diagnostics, planning, implementation (change management) and evaluation. 


  • Access and synthesize data from a variety of sources to formulate informed viewpoints on organizational issues.


  • Facilitate workshops and drive the org effectiveness processes to lead teams towards productive and on time outcomes.


  • Deliver under difficult conditions and maintain a balanced point of view under pressure.


  • Key skills include but not limited to solid communication skills – both written and oral, the ability to influence, collaboration, problem solving, creativity, analytics, agility and resilience.

Qualifications:


  • Education required/ preferred: A Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational management or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.


  • Experience: five to eight years of work experience in Human Resources or a closely related field is required.


  • Experience working as an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in a global/highly matrixed organization. Experience in talent management preferred.


  • Proven track record partnering with business leaders to design and execute high impact organizational solutions.


  • Previous experience using the STAR model.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
