Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary is a national law firm that represents transportation clients.  Scopelitis is presently seeking a Litigation Assistant to join our team in our Milwaukee office.  The firm is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana and maintains office locations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Draft basic documents, including correspondence, pleadings and discovery.


• Reading, reviewing and editing of attorney’s work product.


• Proficiency in electronic court filings in both state and federal court.


• Maintaining client files.


• Processing incoming and outgoing mail.


• Docketing using Outlook.

• Minimum of 2 years litigation experience.


• Familiarity with NetDocuments, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Proficient with technology and digital dictation.


• Ability to maintain confidences with clients, attorneys and peers as part of a team.


• Proficient with proofreading and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
