The Licensed Practical Nurse Promotes and Restores Resident's quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual plans of care.   The LPN will identify resident care needs, establish a compassionate working environment, promote resident independence and resolves resident problems and needs.   The LPN also assures quality of care, communicates well being and needs of residents as well as maintaining a clean working environment, completing proper documentation in a timely manner, ensuring operation of equipment and maintaining the nursing supply inventory.

This position will work 36 clinical hours a week, working 3 x 12 hour shifts and every other weekend in the Borden Nursing Center.

Candidate must be a graduate from an approved school of Practi­cal Nursing and current licensure by the Com­mon­wealth of Virginia as a Licensed Practi­cal Nurse.
