We are currently recruiting for a Process Control Team Leader at the Savannah River Mill in Rincon, Georgia.This role is responsible for developing a vision and strategy for the process control team, as well as leading the technical capability in this area and helping to implement new technology. This role is responsible for a team of about 10-12 process control team members and reports to the Business Development Leader for the mill.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Lead the Savannah River Mill's process control team through the application of MBM tools and concepts


• Develop a vision and strategy that aligns with area and business initiatives


• Provide process control engineering support for one or more areas of the mill


• Provide capital project support, and understand and implement new technology


• Process control asset life cycle planning, optimization strategies, standardization, and outage support Interact with mill leadership, external resources, operations technicians, and the electrical and instrumentation department

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering degree with 5 or more years of process control and/or automation experience OR in lieu of a Degree, 10 or more years of process control and/or automation experience


• Experience and computer skills in one or more of the following areas:




• Network technology


• Allen Bradley Control Logix, PLC5 controllers and associated I/O


• ABB, Rockwell and Yaskawa Drives


• Motion Control and Servo Based Technology


• Delta V or other DCS systems

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience leading a group in an MBM culture


• Experience leading Process Control team


• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Paper Science


• Process control or automation experience in Utilities, Pulp, or Paper


• Process control system and equipment reliability experience


• Implementation of Process Control projects that improved safety, quality, or competitive advantage
