Job Description:

This position will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and achieving business development goals with relation to federal government business in the Western United States. Areas of business development will include managing established relationships with prime vendors and calling on local federal government field offices and military bases. 


This position can be located anywhere in the United States 


Position Description:



  • Generate incremental revenue according to specific targets.

  • Quantify opportunity of federal market and identify key targets.

  • Identify potential departments within federal agencies and develop tailored sales strategies to execute against.

  • Demonstration of products to end users; with intent to specify products into agencies.

  • Management of relationship with end users and agency leadership.

  • Responsible for indirect management of relationships with TLS vendors and their sales force.

  • Develop new prospects and expand existing Federal accounts

Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of the federal/military sales

  • Proven track record of success and ability to close business quickly

  • Must live within territory

  • Ability to travel 80+%

Essential Functions/Physical Demands:



  • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Infrequent standing and walking. Constant sitting.

  • Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.

  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
