Job Description:
Essential Job Duties:
- Drive Key Performance Indicators in each area within the plant during the night shift: Processing, Packaging , Receiving and Shipping.
- Evaluate salary and hourly personnel to help drive performance and help to manage staffing levels within the facility.
- Support and implement continuous improvement processes within the facility to help drive down costs.
- Assist Quality and Food Safety department with in investigations of issues.
- Responsible for ensuring product produced meets company’s standards, specifications, policies and practices.
- Drive adherence of GMP policies within the facility
- Manage both salaried and hourly personnel including: Hiring decisions, employee relations issues and termination decisions
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, operations management, engineering, biology or another related field is strongly preferred
- 7 - 10 years of management experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be an effective communicator, communicating both with hourly employees but also members of the plant management team and corporate leadership
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
