Job Responsibilities The purpose of Pilot Quality Engineering Inspectors is to improve the overall quality output of Pilot manufacturing. This role accomplishes that objective, primarily, by performing Final system audits and inline assembly audits on the manufacturing floor. Second to that, this role improves quality by identifying and implementing better processes, analyzing quality performance and collaborating with management and HVM on quality improvements. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail. Responsibilities
Inspecting equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
Analyzing information, reporting and research results
Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
Other Job Responsibilities
Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
Will perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.
Works closely with development engineers and conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. Troubleshoots prototypes and model failures
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Possess a keen eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In -depth knowledge and comprehension of Lam quality standards is essential
Working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2-4 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree in technical field
