The Product Manager position is to drive global growth in the exhaust clamping systems market. To initiate and establish a "product of choice' with our potential and existing automotive customers. Assist in the development of automated manufacturing processes to help provide our customers turnkey single cell solutions for flexibility, speed to market, and "drop in" capability anywhere in the world.
Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
Prior customer experience (preferably in high volume automotive manufacturer)
An understanding of metal stamping tooling and manufacturing methods, welding, and assembly
Knowledge of mechanical drafting standards and geometric tolerances
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiating, customer service and collaborative skills
The ability to review electronic documentation and specifications, including CAD data, part print information, global engineering standards, and specifications
The ability to provide effective feedback to management on a regular basis, raising issues and problems as necessary
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and drive on-time completion of projects with a high degree of detail
Exceptional professional attributes, including self-motivation, dependability, and confidentiality
Ability to build effective work relationships
Demonstrated growth potential, by having achieved previously established goals, learning new skills, and proven strategic thinking
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Outstanding candidates will possess the following Desired Requirements
Experience with sales of metal-formed products in the automotive industry
Technical engineering knowledge
Experience managing large automotive OEM or Tier I customer(s)
Experience or education to support P & L responsibility
