1. Clean patient/resident rooms daily &/or at check-out/discharge, using various cleaning chemicals & disinfectants as required.
2. Wash & make bed with clean linen.
3. Collect soiled linen.
4. Wash walls.
5. Clean all restrooms, sink areas & fixtures.
6. Vacuum carpets.
7. Extract carpets as needed.
8. Dust &/or mop floors.
9. Collect trash & clean trash containers.
10. Perform high dusting.
11. Maintain daily report of rooms cleaned & submit to department supervisor.
12. Clean & re-stock housekeeping cart for next day use.
13. Stock supplies in utility closets.
14. Maintain/clean all housekeeping equipment & tools to ensure they are in good working order.
15. Other job related duties as assigned.
