solutions to address our customer’s most challenging demand for new high-performance materials that reduce weight, improve aerodynamics, and ultimately lower the total part costs for customers. The business supplies composites technologies to civil and military aircraft manufacturers which comprises the
majority of sales, with the balance of sales into various industrial markets.

The TIF Production Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and support to ensure that currently defined processes meet or exceed Department targets in terms of HSE, Quality, Productivity and Cost.  Lead incremental improvements initiatives to optimize existing processes through collaboration with Process Engineering and R&I resources.
Day To Day Operations

• Works with TIF team to maintain and improve compliance to HSE policies and systems (e. Solvay Life Saving Rules)


• Communicate and follow up as required on any HSE&S concerns, incidents, near misses, or opportunities for improvement as required by Site HSE.


• Works with Process Engineering and R&I to document, track and optimize process setting during Trials, DOE’s and validated Production.


• Owns implementation, tracking and improvement of TIF OEE to meet Site targets and Business requirements


• Analyzes quality issues and develops corrective actions; including customer notifications, rework, waste and other cost of quality contributors.


• Ensures Operation is compliant to ISO 14001 and AS9100 Quality Systems


• Owner of quality documentations pertaining to the TIF Operation such as specifications, inspection documents, testing requirements, sampling plans, LIMs configuration and methods. 


• As needed, lead, participate and/or provide resources for Incident/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, Management of Change (MOC), Process Safety Startup Review (PSSR), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other related HSE&S, process safety, and customer service activities. 

• Bachelors of Science, ideally Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.  For the right candidate, electrical or Industrial engineering are acceptable.


• Previous experience in quality/process engineering function in manufacturing environment.


• Demonstrated Technical mastery within an Industrial setting


• Continuous improvement background, including kaizen leadership and change management. 


• Demonstrated experience in problem solving and root cause analysis


• 2 – 5 years’ experience

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, communicate effectively with all levels.


• Understanding manufacturing processes and value chain.


• Understand key operational metrics and communicate across organization to achieve clear alignment and focus.


• Understanding of quality systems, ISO9001/AS9100 requirements.


• Understanding processes to engage cross-functional teams to solve quality problems.
