Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to help build our member web experience. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of the web application. You will work with the UI/UX designer, Product Manager, and Back-End Engineers to deliver delightful experiences to our members.

Responsibilities

- Develop new member-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills And Qualifications

- 3+ years of frontend web development work experience

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Proficient understanding of client-side JavaScript frameworks and libraries

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Good understanding of security best practices
- Good understanding of API design principles, including REST

Nice to Have

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues

- Experience with TypeScript and/or type systems

- Experience with unit, integration and end to end testing
