Job Description 

Color Matcher

Summary/General Job Description/Mission:  Color Matcher

Responsibilities Related to the Job: 

• Develops color matches per customer specifications


• Develops a design by compiling a starting formulation, gathering raw materials, matching, mixing and preparing a sample.


• Provides written formulary adjustments in lab scale testing and for scaling up identified changes to production scale.


• Assists QC with adjustment of materials in production as needed.


• Assist QC or production with any SAP related issue with WBC colors.


• Assist QC with color related problems including work-off of obsolete, returned, and off-spec raw materials as needed.


• Supply customers with proper GHS labels, MSDS, CAS information, technical data, spec sheets, and other technical information, as necessary.


•

  Required Qualifications and Knowledge: 

  
  

• Minimally a high school graduate, but some college or degree preferred.


• Physical requirements lifting, standing or sitting


•  Excellent organizational and communication skills


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Must be able to keep workflow moving with minimal supervision


• Strong work ethic

  Preferred Qualifications: 

  
  

• Color matching experience with a minimum of 5 years. 


• Proficient in SAP a plus, but must be computer literate.

  Travel Requirements:  Negligible
