As a Manager, Investor Relations you will assist in the development and implementation of investor targeting while updating and maintaining the IR database. You will monitor and record investor engagements and opportunities with the prime responsibility for weekly reporting to senior-level management and CEO. You will also conduct targeted research by analyzing and summarizing financial as well as operational information developed by third parties about our industry and company. Financial analytics, including tracking competitor performance, sector valuations and macro-economic trends, will also play a big role. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Research appropriate investor targets

  • Coordinate schedules with external and internal participants along with logistics for investor conferences, meetings, and other related events

  • Develop, update and maintain Investment Relation database

  • Produce weekly reports for C-suite on investors engagements and opportunities

  • Provide organizational, analytical, and logistical assistance for investor activities

  • Prepare conference materials for meetings and presentations

  • Facilitate collection of information to support quarterly and yearly reports for shareholders

  • Support evaluation of market and peer data; support evaluation of sell-side financial and research models

  • Develop competitor and industry financial activities analysis

  • Observe live communication with key institutional investors and sell-side analysts


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years of investor relations experience within a corporate environment

  • Experience with financial markets (accounting and finance) from applied or academic learnings

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM)


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's or another advanced degree in accounting or finance

  • 6+ years of experience working in the financial services industry

  • Interest in capital markets

  • Familiarity with the institutional investment community, including investment styles and engagement practices for hedge funds and mutual funds

  • Good communications skills both written and verbal; strong presentation skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • A dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality surrounding company materials and information

  • Exceptional learning agility and ability to process and synthesize information quickly
