If you are an Order Entry & Billing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Hampstead, New Hampshire location, you will b e responsible for coordination and entry of all inside sales orders, including customer correspondence and customer phone inquiries. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of orders and appropriate record keeping. Provides exceptional customer service and clerical support to Sales Office.

AS ORDER ENTRY & BILLING CLERK, YOU WILL: 


  • Write, enter, and update of daily Sales Orders. Type customer correspondence and fax, file Sales Order Acknowledgments, and distribute appropriate paperwork to internal departments.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the accuracy and timeliness of processing orders. Ensure orders are processed in line with customers’ delivery requirements.

  • Obtain customers’ names, addresses, and billing information and ensure accurate record keeping.

  • Issue invoices and bills and send them to customers. Assist accounts receivable with contacting customers about late payments when needed.

  • Prepare shipping documents.

  • Serve as the front desk receptionist, ensure all visitors are properly signed in, answer phones, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Provide general administrative and communication support.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all sales related information

You are effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • High School Diploma

  • Interpersonal skills and creativity in solving customers’ concerns.

  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Judgment and decision making capability.

  • Organizing and planning capabilities.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity suites currently in use by the company.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided. 


 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • Associates’ Degree in Sales, Marketing or related discipline is preferred.

  • Previous experience in a Sales or Administrative capacity in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
