Job Description

Kimberly-Clark is looking for a highly motivated professional to provide quality solutions for data analysis to the internal audit group. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and effective communicator and has experience in assisting the audit team to identify financial, compliance, and operational risks in business processes through use of data analysis.

The Integrated Analytics Associate Auditor will assist in the design, development, and deployment of data mining solutions that have a direct and measurable impact on a wide variety of internal audit activities from annual risk assessment, audit engagement activities, investigations, continuous auditing, and compliance.

Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data analytics projects, including continuous monitoring and automation, supporting the global audit function.

  • Assist in consolidating and synthetization of data into actionable visualizations and clearly articulate the insights reflected.

  • Provide observations into behavior, trends, financials and business operations through data analysis and support the development of business intelligence visuals.

  • Utilize advanced business intelligence tools including complex calculations, table calculations, mapping, data blending, and optimization of data extracts.

  • Support the DA team in identifying opportunities to automate audit testing and development of techniques for continuous controls monitoring.

  • Coordinate with data owners across the organization to identify appropriate data sources and data elements required for analytics, and perform procedures to validate completeness and accuracy of the data.

  • Provide data mining and analytics support to audit team to appropriately scope and execute audits focused on the most significant and relevant risks.

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree with a major/minor in accounting, finance, data/business analytics or related field.

  • Proficient knowledge in the use of data analytics and visualization tools such as ACL, Python, R, VBA, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and support the design of appropriate solutions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate effectively and professionally.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives to work with functional subject matter specialists.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of robotics process automation tools (UI Path, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.).

  • Knowledge of enterprise system (e.g. SAP) data warehouses and table design.

  • Experience in public accounting and/or private industry audit experience with knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas.

  • Certifications in CISA, CIA, CFE, Tableau, ACL.
