Claims Specialist, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for researching and resolving customer billing inquiries regarding dispute by maintaining cardholder satisfaction and reducing losses to the bank within Prepaid Card and Commercial Card.
Handle both written correspondence and/or phone calls relating to these inquiries including uploading documentation received from various channels
Analyze cardholder and merchant documentation and make decisions based on findings for qualification under the appropriate regulations and network rules.
Have the ability to proficiently analyze, summarize and communicate on conclusions.
Provide resolution to the customer either by telephone or written correspondence within strict targeted delivery timeframes.
Skill set requires ability to defuse potentially difficult challenging and/or upset customers and complex issues.
Be results-oriented and comfortable making decisions within established policy and procedural guidelines with minimal supervision.
You will be a point of contact for each cardholder within the overall Prepaid portfolio, and will be directly responsible for the creation and follow through of all client financial dispute related requests through multiple channels of communication.
Detailed case tracking of following ups is critical and considered imperative to the internal work flow process.
Qualifications for the job:
• Be able to work in a high volume fast paced, production environment
• An evidenced and accomplished history of independent problem solving work
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multi-task
Command strong ability to use various bank systems such as Service Portal, Global Prepaid Platform, Case Tracking, TASAT, Tsys, and Outlook.
Proficient with Visa and MasterCard chargebacks codes and regulations
Excellent oral and written communications skills
3+ years of experience in Customer or Client Service or Client management environment
Extensive client service knowledge and background with the ability to create and deliver exceptional client/customer experiences
Strong organizational skills , self-starter and timeline driven
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities to assess and drive process improvement
Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve complex technical problems as it relates to system applications
Moderate Excel knowledge
