The role:

The Financial Analyst, Cost Accounting will assist the Sr. Manager, Cost Accounting and Lease Accounting regarding global accounting and reporting requirements. This position assists with the monthly accounting close, performing global cost accounting review of individual countries, and refining standardized accounting processes.

How you would contribute:

• Analyze monthly individual country Gross Profit and Inventory activity and validate fluctuation explanations




• Maintain accounting processes and recommend areas for improvement




• Partner globally with various Finance Managers and Regional Finance teams to find opportunities to streamline processes through the use of Robotic Process Automation (PRA), Oracle ERP and BI reporting tools and Onestream balance sheet reconciliation application




• Assist with the global lease accounting and reporting process




• Support the company’s quarterly and annual SEC reporting and associated external audit requirements




• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Strong accounting experience and proven analytical skills




• Great teammate with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management




• Proven project management experience




• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




• Detail oriented, proactive, and ability to prioritize

Experience:

• 2 years of accounting experience




• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly in Excel, including the ability to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions and formulas




• Experience utilizing leading ERP software (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP)

Education

• Bachelor's (BS/BA/BBA) degree in Accounting
