Job Summary      

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support customer requests for information about products and services, requests for quotes or pricing, and to process orders.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs to provide detailed estimates utilizing company-specific software.


• Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to internal and external customers.


• Greet customers and answer incoming calls in a professional manner with a positive attitude.


• Review material requirements of new orders and place P.O.’s when necessary to support production.


• Any other related functions assigned or deemed necessary by management.


• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of high school education.


• Accurate data entry experience utilizing a computer keyboard.


• Be available to work normal business hours (7-5) and overtime when required.


• Possess general knowledge of design principles in the construction industry and read architectural plans and specifications.

 
Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer workstation in a controlled climate office environment


• Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety boots with metatarsal guards when in the manufacturing area.

 
Job Preferences

• Post-Secondary education or comparable experience in an engineering, manufacturing or construction-related field.


• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software a plus.


• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and all Microsoft Office programs.


• Excellent written and verbal communication.


• Interact with others in a courteous, professional manner.


• Highly self-motivated and able to work with others in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong organizational abilities with good follow-up skills.


• Ability to follow established policies and procedures.


• Desire to solve problems by gathering data and make sound business decisions.
