We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to:


  • Analyze various compensation and benefit market data points to provide recommendations to HR leadership.

  • Ensure position descriptions are reviewed and updated appropriately; perform job and market evaluations.

  • Assist in finding opportunities to control benefit costs through the negotiation of benefit contract terms, the competitive bid process, and ensuring the existence of effective and efficient administration.

  • Perform compensation and benefit audits and prepare and present reports based on finding within the audits.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Work Experience:

Minimum – 3 years’ experience with analytical processes with knowledge of Compensation and/or Benefit programs.

Preferred – 3 years of experience in compensation and benefit administration that includes experience in administering and participating in implementing compensation and benefit programs, developing plan materials, and identifying/implementing opportunities to improve compensation and benefit plans and related costs.

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred – Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits (CEBS), Professional Human Resource Certificate (PHR), or Senior Professional Human Resource Certificate (SPHR).

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:


  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Must possess knowledge of and ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.

  • Exceptional spreadsheet skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn large volume of data into meaningful information.

  • Ability work independently and in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop accurate and clear communications that appropriately communicates programs and projects throughout the organization including physicians, executives, other leadership and staff.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations that impact compensation and benefits such as ERISA, COBRA, ACA, IRS and DOL requirements, FLSA, Wage and Hour.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools.  Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
