Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of Nursing Home patients and their caregivers. This unique and challenging sub-set of the Pharmacy practice requires a goal oriented, productive and hard-working technician that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Our team needs an experienced, accurate and fast Order Entry Technician to join our team of professionals!

Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
- Handle incoming fax and telephone communication
- Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
- Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc.
- Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently
- Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers
- Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast paced environment

- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Current Pharmacy Technician license in appropriate state
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous Technician experience
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Outstanding telephone communication skills
