Cherokee Nation Business is looking for a Warehouse Specialist for the Marine Corps Security Force Battalion, Kings Bay, GA in support of the Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) mission.

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Specialist shall provide inventory management and storage management support to the Supply Office. The Warehouse Specialist shall be responsible for the daily operation of the ICE issue point that includes the inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehousing of all ICE and any other such security equipment as required. The contractor shall provide a monthly warehouse and supply status report to the Supply Officer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Providing inventory management support of ICE assigned to the MCSFBN.
  • Shall complete daily building walkthroughs to verify maintenance repairs.
  • Shall utilize best business practices to maintain accurate and timely inventory management, conduct and document weekly inventory spot checks and report results to the Supply Office.
  • Shall establish reorder levels for all assigned line items sufficient to support the lead-time of replacement equipment, and the reporting of all line items approaching reorder point utilizing established reporting formats.
  • Shall process shipping paperwork and maintain required historical voucher file of all receipts and shipments.
  • Shall conduct scheduled periodic property inventories, provide shipping and receiving support for the contracted CBRN defense equipment, receive/log in/forward results of CBRN mask fit testing to the contracted CBRN facility for Naval personnel during check-in, and receive and distribute CBRN kits issued by the contracted CBRN facility to Naval personnel.
  • Shall pick up materials from the Strategic Weapons System Supply Warehouse at Kings Bay and other local vendors daily, deliver material to MCSFBN facilities, and watch stations approximately daily. The Contractor shall provide engraving support using the Government furnished computer-aided engraving machine, receive and log requests for engraving signs/nametags/plates using various metal and plastic materials for official command use.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • This position does not have any supervisory and/or management authority

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma of GED Equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in warehouse oversight
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Candidates must be US Citizens
  • Candidates must have an active and current Secret clearance at the time of their application
  • Candidates will be subject to a US Federal government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug test.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask between multiple simultaneous efforts and requirements on a daily basis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for compliant and complete reports, documentation and data entry tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Work shall be in office, warehouse and field environments on a military base
